Too Much Chocolate!

A book report by Michael Lorimer

In the book The Chocolate Touch by Patrick Catling, John Midas loves to eat chocolate. John doesn’t care where or when he eats it. As long as it is chocolate, it’s good enough for him!

One day, after taking a wrong turn while going to a friend’s house, he finds himself at an unusual candy store. He finds a special coin and, of course, uses it to buy some chocolate.

He eats it and soon discovers that everything that goes into his mouth becomes chocolate! It’s a glorious sensation at first, but eventually, the chocolate touch starts to get out of hand, and the word chocolate does not sound appetizing anymore.

On a scale from one to ten, I would give this book a 9.5. I highly recommend it!
